Membership Benefits

The board consists of 5 directors and every year one or two board members complete their three year tenure.  The role of the board is to manage the Canadian Haflinger Pedigree, encourage new membership, educate the members on issues that are particular to Haflingers and assist members with registering horses and transfers.  This is an exciting volunteer position. We meet by a zoom call, one evening a month for 1.5 hours. Any current member of CHA who owns a Canadian Registered Haflinger is eligible to be a board member.

To be nominated, send a letter of intent and short (300-500 word) biography of your involvement with Haflingers to info.canadianhaflinger@gmail.com.

Nominations close on February 15, 2026. Voting will take place electronically at the link below:

If you are receiving this letter by Canada Post, please consider sending us your email address as email is the efficient method of communication for a volunteer organization. Please click on the following link to vote for X new directors on the 2026 CHA executive board:

Please note that you have to be a current CHA member in order to cast your vote!
